Think for a moment – How many struggles? How many battles? How many difficulties? How much sadness? How much happiness? How many love stories? How many expressions of hope for the future? – did your ancestors have to undergo for you to exist in this present moment.

Beginning next year, Finding Your Roots will feature a non-celebrity guest on the show…and YES, I APPLIED! Unfortunately, we weren't chosen, but I'm still extremely proud of my family and our history, and I hope we will continue to share our experiences and stories.
