Upcycle Furniture Finds

Extreme transformation of painted hardwood dresser.

I found this piece on Facebook marketplace and whilst it wasn't in a terrible condition i knew it would be a great transformation. Im not sure how old this one is but it had definitely been refinished a couple times with multiple layers of wall paper and layers of white yellow blue and pink paint.

Stunning Makeover: Mid Century Chest of Drawers Revived.

I restored a veneered cherry extending dining table.

So I found this extending dining table on Facebook marketplace place for sale for £30. It was advertised as solid cherry but half was through the project I discovered the table was definitely not veneered and I'm not fully convinced the table was cherry either I'm not an expert in identifying wood species but I think it was teak.

A manufacturing sticker under the table said "finish TK" which could mean it was stained teak? maybe TK doesn't even stand for teak. It doesn't make much difference to me either way as I would still take on the project. It's just nice to know what I'm getting into aha. lesson learnt.

Old ROTTEN Chest Restoration.

I restored a 1900s metamorphic table

I found this unique peice on facebook market place and it definitely caught my eye. I've never seen anyone design like this and it was super interesting looking into the history of this kind of furniture.

It makes me wonder why they don't make furniture like this any more space saving and efficient.

it was £100 on facebook, do you think it was worth it... I do.

I've never done any upholstery before so it was definetly a learning experience and im super happy with the finished product

I picked this mangle up on facebook marketplace for £40 with no idea what to do with it. sometimes you have to go with the flow and trust the process and its fair to say I was super happy with the finished product.
