Berlin Calling Band

Last night at Crooked Run Fermentation we wanted to try something a little different and boy did we have a blast!!! After performing a couple songs acoustically on a recent podcast, we decided to put a similar spin on some of our regular songs while also throwing in some special tunes to kickoff the holiday season! Everyone was super receptive and the response was amazing. We truly cannot wait to do it again.

A huge shout out to Dan Barrett of Mandatory Recess for sitting in with us on drums! With only a couple rehearsals, Dan took everything we threw at him and kicked ass on each and every song!

We’d like to thank Gokul Chalasani for making us sound great, as always, to Nikole for bringing us back to perform regularly, year after year, to the staff of Crooked Run Fermentation for taking such great care of us and everyone who came out to see us and to our friends and family who are always there to support us!! We 💜 you all.

Old Ox Rocks for Teachers is back Feb. 1 at Old Ox Brewery.

This all-day concert features some of the top local bands, plus student musicians and vendors, and all proceeds go toward LEF's Innovation in Education grants for Loudoun County Public Schools educators.

Sponsorships are available and range from $500 to $5,000.

If you listened to our podcast a few months ago you would have heard us talk about how this has been a year of trying new things. Well, that didn’t stop after the podcast! We have been growing together as a band and trying new things, including bringing in other musicians to fill in when needed to keep our commitments to our performances. It has been a great experience for us getting to work with other local musicians such as Dan Barrett of Mandatory Recess and Carter Dale Keeton of Keeton and Bad Panda and we can’t thank the two of them enough for all of their hard work. You will be seeing Dan and Carter on stage with us during the month of December but know that you will also see everyone else you know and love from BC back on stage in 2025!!!
