It’s hard to put into words what today feels like. In my mind, you’re still the little girl who reached for my hand and needed her dad for everything. And now I look at you and see this strong, smart, independent young woman stepping into the world on her own. That shift is beautiful, and if I’m honest, a little emotional for me too.

Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. You may not need me the way you once did, and that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be. Still, I hope the lessons I tried to pass on somehow stuck. Respect yourself. Know your value and your worth. Never shrink for anyone. Stand tall in who you are.
