🐾 Puppy Update! 🐾
Today was a big day for our little rescue crew! The puppies headed to the vet for vaccines, nail trims, and wellness checks, and they were absolute rockstars. ❤️

Because these babies came to us severely underweight, we're taking a team approach to helping them thrive. They have now headed out to amazing foster homes where we can focus on individualized feeding schedules, weight gain, socialization, and lots of love.

Current body condition scores:
🩷 Pink Collar – 5/10
💙 Blue Collar – 5/10
❤️ Red Collar – 5/10
🧡 Orange Collar – 5/10
💚 Green Collar – 4/10

Our goal is to slowly and safely get every puppy to a healthy 10/10. We don't want rapid weight gain, we want healthy weight gain.

Before heading to their foster homes, these puppies got to experience so many things they had never known before. They ran and played in the grass, splashed in the dog pool, chased toys, explored the yard, and spent time with our big dogs learning how to be confident, happy puppies. Watching them discover the world has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Their personalities are really starting to shine, and it's amazing to see how far they've come in such a short time.

Each foster family went home with a care package packed with food, supplies, feeding instructions, and everything needed to help these pups continue their journey.

I am incredibly grateful to our foster families from our Viz Whizz Texas pack for stepping up when these puppies needed them most. It truly takes a village, and because of your kindness, these little ones now have the extra attention and care they need to succeed.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, cheered us on, and supported these puppies. We can't wait to watch them grow stronger, healthier, and more confident with every passing day. 🧡🐾

Stay tuned for more updates as we work toward getting these babies healthy, strong, and finally reaching that perfect 10

Thank you all for the incredible outpouring of love, encouragement, and donations for our 8 rescue dogs. 🧡

I wanted to share a little update on the five puppies. I won't sugarcoat it, it's been a lot of work. These pups had never seen grass before coming here. Potty training wasn't something they'd ever been taught, and going on concrete or in their kennel was all they knew.

Feeding time is another full-time job in itself. At just 11 weeks old, most of these puppies weigh around 9 pounds, which is very small for their age. To help them gain weight safely, I'm feeding them 4–5 small meals a day, carefully managing portions and feeding everyone separately so they each get what they need without overeating.

But despite the challenges, the transformation has been amazing to watch and their personalities are starting to shine through more every day.

I love watching them play in the yard, chase each other through the grass, discover toys, and experience things that should have been part of their lives from the beginning.

Some are becoming brave little explorers, while others are still figuring out that the world isn't such a scary place. Every day brings a little more confidence, a little more trust, and alot more energy.

Yesterday everyone was microchipped and got their Bordetella vaccine that helps protect dogs against kennel cough, and they got new collars! Today we head to the vet for our health checks.

We still have a long road ahead with these pups, along with the three 14-month-old boys who now all have fosters and will be getting their vet care and neuters. Your support is making all of this possible, and I am so grateful.

Here’s a bunch of photos for you to see them - They’re SO cute! I will add videos in the comments.❤️

🧡 An Urgent Plea for Help 🧡
Yesterday, we welcomed five 11-week-old puppies into our care & they got to play on grass for the first time.

As you can see, these babies are significantly underweight, with prominent ribs and little body condition including flat foot. While they are safe now in my care, they are going to need extra attention, carefully managed feeding schedules, veterinary care, parasite testing, vaccinations, and lots of love to help them recover and thrive.

At the very same time, we are also caring for three 14-month-old male dogs who are waiting for their forever homes while being looked after by our fosters. They need food, supplies, routine veterinary care, and upcoming neuter surgeries before they can move on to the next chapter of their lives.

Rescue never seems to happen one dog at a time. Just when one group is settled, another arrives needing help. All 8 dogs were surrendered to rescue by the same person, and we are flad were in a position to help.

We are incredibly grateful for this community because we simply cannot do it alone.

If you are able to help, donations of any amount are deeply appreciated and go directly toward:
🐾 Puppy food and nutritional supplements
🐾 Veterinary exams and f***l testing
🐾 Vaccinations and preventatives
🐾 Neuter surgeries for our older boys
🐾 Crates, bedding, cleaning supplies, and daily care

Every dollar helps us provide the care these dogs deserve while we work to find them safe, loving homes.

🧡 From all eight new dogs currently in our care, thank you.

Meet Sacha 💙l📍Hudson, OH
60 lbs | Neutered | Housebroken | Crate trained | E-Collar Trained. Sacha is a 6-year-old male Vizsla looking for a calm, experienced home where he can thrive and be understood.

Sacha is a sweet, well-cared-for boy who has been loved his whole life. He’s comfortable with adults and does well around other dogs, adjusting nicely in new environments when given a little time. He’s used to wearing a collar and leash, enjoys companionship, and is overall an extremely friendly dog.

Why he needed a new home:
With the recent arrival of a baby, Sacha has shown fear around young children and has nipped during a crawling interaction. For everyone’s safety, he needed a home without young children; this is non-negotiable.

Sacha is with his new foster family in Hudson, OH where he is truly thriving! He is a gentle, old-souled Vizsla who loves to follow you around the house, perform tricks for training treats and curl up beside you for belly scratches at the end of a long day. A classic Vizsla, he loves to sniff and hunt outdoors for the neighborhood chipmunks, squirrels and birds, and play with the fosters’ 40 lb female Vizsla, Mabel, whenever she engages. His foster parents have taken him on many walks, which he loves, and have let him go off-leashing with complete confidence in his recall. For those familiar with off-leash training, he recently completed a 3 week “K9 Off-Leash” e-collar board and train program, where he learned to sit, down, place and hold until released.

They’ve continued Sacha’s training and he continues to excel each day. He loves positive reinforcement and being told “that’s a good boy Sacha!”. Once he feels comfortable in his surroundings -which only took him a day or so in his foster home - he will gladly curl up on his bed and spend his afternoons snoozing in the sunshine or anywhere where he can be close to his humans.

His foster parents even let him sleep with them up on the bed, which he adores! Sacha is on hydrolyzed protein kibble from his previous owners and is very food driven. He will baby treats out of your fingers (he’s so gentle!) and has shown no aggression towards the foster parents or their Vizsla, other than one instance of light resource guarding when his foster sister tried to sneak a second dinner.

What we’re looking for:
✔️ Adult-only home (teen kids)
✔️ Vizsla or working-breed experience preferred
✔️ Someone willing to continue with his E-Collar Training
✔️ A structured environment where he can thrive

In the right home, with clear boundaries and understanding, Sacha has every chance to settle in and become a loyal companion to a new family. This took him less than a week at his foster home where he immediately turned into a classic, loving “velcro” Vizsla .

If you think you could be the right match, please reach out. We’re looking to move thoughtfully to ensure Sacha lands exactly where he belongs. The fosters are happy to help with transportation or meet and greets for the right situation.

🧡 Bodhi Found His Forever Home! 🧡
Some matches just feel right from the very beginning, and Bodhi's adoption is one of them.

We are thrilled to share that Bodhi has officially found his forever home with Jason, Kat, and his new big brother, Remi in Virginia. From the moment they met, it was clear this was something special. Bodhi and Remi hit it off instantly and have barely left each other's side since.

Bodhi's new family is exactly the kind of home we dreamed of for him. Jason and Kat are experienced Vizsla owners who understand the breed's need for companionship, exercise, and adventure. Their days are filled with hiking, swimming, fetch, trail runs, and outdoor adventures. With Kat working from home, Jason's flexible schedule, and a young Vizsla companion already in the home, Bodhi will never be short on love, activity, or company.

Most importantly, he now has what every rescue dog deserves: a new family who adores him as much as his last, a best friend who speaks his language, and a lifetime of adventures ahead.

We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who submitted an application for Bodhi. We were overwhelmed by the number of wonderful families interested in giving him a home. While this match was the right fit for Bodhi, please know that we keep approved applications on file and often reach back out when other dogs enter our program. Your willingness to open your hearts and homes to rescue dogs means the world to us.

Thank you, Jason, Kat, and Remi, for welcoming Bodhi into your family. We cannot wait to watch this next chapter unfold.

Happy tails, Bodhi. Your forever starts now. 🧡🐾

🐾 Meet Cinnamon – Waiting for Her Forever Home 🐾 2 years old, spayed
📍Austin, Tx

Over a year ago, Viz Whizz Dogs stepped in to save three young hound mixes found abandoned in Richmond, Texas. One of those dogs was Cinnamon.

Today, Cinnamon is still waiting for the family who will see the incredible dog she is becoming.

Cinnamon is a young, spayed Pointer mix with a gentle heart and so much potential. While some dogs settle into new situations quickly, Cinnamon needs a little extra time, patience, and understanding. She is learning to trust, gaining confidence every day, and discovering what it means to be loved.

Her brother, Spots, has already found his forever family. Now we’re hoping Cinnamon’s person is out there too.

Thanks to her dedicated foster, Alana, Cinnamon has made wonderful progress and knows badlc commands. What she needs now is a home willing to continue that journey and a family that understands that the best things in life are worth waiting for.

There is something incredibly special about earning the trust of a dog like Cinnamon. Watching her come out of her shell, celebrate small victories, and realize she’s finally safe is a gift unlike any other.

🐾 Spayed Female Pointer Mix
🏡 Looking for a patient, loving forever home
❤️ good with dogs and children
✨ Sweet, gentle, and deserving of a second chance

Spots found his happily ever after. Let’s help Cinnamon find hers. Please share and help us find the perfect home for this beautiful girl.
