This morning’s rain will make the grass green in a few days, and the sky many colors now.
A video from six years ago of our granddaughter Lily with her first Angus heifer. The lesson learned here was to correctly work with cattle, one must work fast, but move slowly. 😀

I ran across this photo of a steer hide that I stretched and dried back in 2019. It was from a Longhorn steer that I raised as a an oddity on the farm. When we processed the steer I had its head mounted by a taxidermist. I tried to preserve the hide by myself. I was successful, as it now hangs behind the mounted head in our farm museum. 👍
