This is why I only get about 45 seconds with Ava.

My ex and I were running the shelter in our small town in Utah during the Palisades fires in LA. We worked with Best Friends pretty frequently. They offered rescues a $250 stipend for every dog pulled from LA County. Dogs already in the shelters were pulled to make room for displaced pets. We secured committed fosters and were able to pull 7 dogs. We pulled from Marleys Mutts. We didnt realize they were over 2 hours away from LA but Best Friends still honored the agreement. Flower and Kite were 2 of those dogs. I fostered Flower from day 1 and ended up a foster failure. Shes my shadow and she has a very warm personality. They dont know her history but she came in missing most of her teeth, a lot of scars and had at least 1 litter. Most likely several. The pic of her with me is when we picked up all the dogs at the CA/NV state line.

Going into hour 13. 25 of the 75 rows done. 2nd...3rd...4th...5th wind. Sunset is gooooooo time.

More tree trimming and brush clearing. Got most of the joists taped. Unloaded 103 16' deck boards. Nice to see the dog house I just built being used. Found a birds nest that had Husky fur in it.
