Ziploc Bag Homemade Bread
Ingredients
3 cups All-purpose flour or bread flour (divided)

3 tsp Sugar

1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) Active dry yeast

1 cup Warm water (about 105°F - 110°F)

3 tbsp Olive oil (or vegetable oil)

1 tsp Salt

Instructions
1. Mix the Base
Open a heavy-duty gallon-sized Ziploc bag. Add 1 cup of the flour , the sugar , and the yeast . For in the warm water . Seal the bag tightly, pressing out most of the air, and shake/squeeze it with your hands until the ingredients are completely mixed and smooth.

2. Let it Rest
Let the sealed bag sit on the counter for about 10 to 15 minutes . You'll notice the mixture start to bubble and foam—this means your yeast is active and ready to go.

3. Add the Rest & Knead
Open the bag and add the remaining 2 cups of flour , the olive oil , and the salt . Seal it back up and give it a good shake. Use your hands to massage and knead the dough directly through the outside of the bag until it pulls away from the sides and forms a cohesive ball.

4. The First Rise
Squeeze out the excess air, seal the bag, and let the dough rise inside the bag in a warm spot for about 45 to 60 minutes , or until it has doubled in size.

5. Shape & Second Rise
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently punch it down and shape it into a loaf. Place the shaped dough into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Cover it loosely with a clean towel and let it rise a second time for about 30 to 45 minutes until it rises just above the top of the pan.

6. Bake
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) . Bake the loaf for 25 to 30 minutes until the crust is a deep golden brown and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
