Electrified exit devices are fun to repair!

New flush bolt hardware on oversize doors at PetSmart. Original hardware was totally inappropriate for these doors.

A tour bus trip with Canadian passengers was thwarted by an electrical problem, effectively locking up all the passengers' luggage. The driver usually taps a button in the cab to open the compartments, but it stopped working. They didn't have the key for the override locks which were completely corroded from years of not being used. Once I had one of them open, they were able to crawl through and open the rest of them so the tour could continue. These guys were the coolest to work with, super great guys from Florida.

This kind of thing makes us reputable Locksmiths very angry. ALWAYS ask for a price, and ALWAYS use someone local!
