Your back pain might not be a back problem.

That’s exactly why we’re hosting a foot workshop this July.

Sometimes the first place I look when someone has back pain isn’t their back at all—it’s their feet.

Not because your feet are “out of alignment” or because there’s a perfect arch everyone should have, but because your feet are your body’s first point of contact with the ground.

Every step you take sends information from the ground to your brain and forces through the rest of your body.

Researcher Irene Davis describes this through the Foot Core System—the idea that your feet have their own core, made up of muscles, ligaments, fascia, and the nervous system working together to create stability, absorb force, and help you move efficiently.

When that foot core isn’t doing its job well, your body often finds another way to get the job done.

That can sometimes show up as:
• Recurring back tightness
• Achy hips
• Knee discomfort
• Foot pain
• Balance issues
• Feeling unstable during exercise

Does every case of back pain start in the feet? Of course not.

But your feet are often the missing piece of the puzzle that nobody has ever assessed.

That’s why Erika and I are hosting a two-part Foot Foundations Workshop this July at Omnia Paratus Health Training
