It's Wednesday and we have new WINE! 💃

So listen to this all my fellow winos & wine nerds 🤓😋 have you ever heard of a "piquette"? I hadn't either!!! But it's a trend and, of course, Scout & Cellar is on it!

Piquette: French term for a natural wine with natural sparkles made with pressed grape skins, upcycling our natural byproduct (the "pomace" - skins, seeds, stems). After the grapes are pressed and all the juice is removed for traditional winemaking, we add water and a small amount of unfermented juice to reinvigorate the yeast and bottle it.

The result? A dry, lightly fizzy, slightly cloudy beverage that—at 7.5% ABV—is extremely versatile.

Our exciting bottle boasts a light and refreshing fizzy addition to your holiday season. This Piquette highlights the essence of Pinot Noir with its fresh, bright flavors of raspberry and cranberry lifted by a light effervescence (perfect for turkey day prep!).
