Tomorrow (Sunday) meet these gorgeous adoptable dogs at in Los Gatos from 11:00 - 1:00 pm
✨Princess Penny. Young female (around 3 years of age) fawn pug. Loves belly rubs and to give kisses.
✨Lucky. Not a pug, but a bulldog of some kind. Wonderful beautiful rescue with an inspiration story of resilience and strength.
✨Stewey is a big love bug. He does well with dogs and children. We believe he’s around 5 years of age.
✨Salem had a rough start. Bred with no understanding of breeding by her owner. Puppy got stuck and died. Salem has been spayed and is doing well. She has unexplained damage (appears to be untreated injury) to her front right foot. It does not deter her at all. Very sweet. Velcro pug.
✨Bosco is an amazing Chi-mix. Great apartment dog. Likes everyone. Great to take to the office. Compact and wonderful. He is 2 years old.
✨Stella is a five year old girl. Very sweet and loving. She does well with other pugs but not great with big dogs.
✨ Maya is a sweet 6.5 year old pug who came in with her brother Corny (also available). She’s potty trained and loves car rides, cuddling, and sleeping next to her human.
✨Cornelius (Corny) is a 6.5 year old very friendly and playful, and he’ll be the first to greet you in a crowd. He love fetch, going on car rides, and sleeping right next to his human. He’s potty trained, great with dogs of all sizes, and he is oblivious to cats.
✨Rosey is a young year old girl. She does well with other dogs. She will be there but not adoptable until after the 22nd of March.
And we may have a few surprise foster guests💚

Dog cupcakes, often referred to as "pupcakes," are specially made for dogs and use ingredients that are safe and healthy for them. Perfect treat for events with dogs such as to celebrate their birthday, adoption anniversary, doggie play dates, dog shows or competitions, holiday celebrations, meetups, social events and training graduations.
Simple minimalist ingredients for dog cupcakes are:
**Flour**: gluten-free flour.
**Protein**: Peanut butter (unsweetened and xylitol-free) or cooked, shredded chicken.
**Fruits/Veggies**: Mashed bananas, applesauce (unsweetened), grated carrots, or pumpkin puree.
**Non-Dairy**: Plain vegan yogurt, unsweetened
You can adapt a simple vegan recipe for cupcakes to be dog cupcake and using Organic Ingredients. Here is one we've used:
- 1 cup gluten free flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup peanut butter (ensure it contains no xylitol)
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
2. In a bowl, mix together the flour and baking powder.
3. In another bowl, combine the applesauce, peanut butter, honey, and egg. Mix well.
4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined.
5. Fold in the shredded carrots.
6. Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about 2/3 full.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
8. Let the cupcakes cool completely before frosting.
Frosting:
**Non-Dairy Yogurt Frosting**: Mix plain yogurt with a little peanut butter for a creamy, dog-friendly frosting.
Decorate with dog-safe treats like Carob for added flair. These pupcakes will surely be a hit with your furry friends!
