Otto, I truly can’t begin to fathom how it’s already been a year since you made your grand debut and changed our lives forever. ♾️

I can’t watch this video without crying. How were you ever so small?! I wish I could have one minute with that tiny version of you and soak it in one more time. Smell the fresh baby scent. Stare at you just one second longer while you drift off to sleep. Listen to those sweet little coos while we had our late night feedings while the world slept.

So I’ll use that wish as a reminder to slow down today. Take you in for just a little longer. Your energy, curiosity, and big slobbery kisses.

You are the happiest, most social, energetic, smartest, strongest, and most beautiful baby I’ve ever laid eyes on and I couldn’t be more grateful to be your mama. You are my heart outside of my body. My whole entire world!!! 🌍
