I was laid off from my high paying banking role more than 2 years ago, and it took me a while to really figure out what I want to do, where I see myself in the future.

A question to ask yourself, “If your life ends today, do you feel fulfilled?” Is normal to not know it yet but you just need some time to figure out the compass. The direction is so much more important, because if you know what you want and run persistently and endlessly towards it, it’s just a matter of time before you get there.

So, does the time even matter? Because it’s gonna be someday, one day.

All my single prince and princesses deserve this stay as well.

A solo day in Hangzhou. Definitely picked the right place to stay, for the best recovery. They keep calling this the Kyoto of Hangzhou.

Hmm… not lonely because my best friend is the little delivery machine.

This whole property is built into the hillside, so you climb a little and the lake opens up in front of you. A slow day because I got to prepare for my flight to Seoul.

Funny how I opened up the ironing board as my parcel unboxing station.

Some would say “I can’t live with you”, that’s me to the Meituan app — everything can be ordered, or purchased via the app.

This is a stay for me claim back my own time! Save this if you are planning for a slow and calm stay, instead of hopping around tourist spots.

I came to Sydney for the sunshine but experienced the wettest week of the year instead.

Stayed at the Caption by Hyatt located right beside the Chinatown area — probably is the best place to stay especially if you are a foodie! It’s surrounded by so much food options!!!

I somehow ended up:

• finding a hidden photobooth ($12)

• eating the best custard puff fresh out the oven

• discovering pistachio hojicha - this was better than any matcha I had in Australia, hands down

• taking a “MAD MAX” jet boat ride and met Benny the seal 🦭(Google him!)

• and questioning if Sydney might secretly be Asia with better views
