It may seem that I have been silent on here. That is not my intention. I am here. I am sharing what I wrote over on the other day. I am educating myself. I am watching so many of the informative videos you all have posted and shared. Reading your well crafted posts. I have seen so much love, frustration, anger, sadness, unity. I am following so many new accounts. I have been creating a list of books for me to read as well as a diverse collection of books for my future children. I may live on a mountain with no neighbors, but my children will NOT be isolated and “protected” from the world’s issues. Our issues. They will be taught love. Acceptance. The importance of standing with their peers, their community. How small acts make a big difference.

I’ve been thinking a lot about what I can do; how I can play my part.

I’ve been preparing to launch new programs over on this week and with everything going on I’m having very conflicting feelings about putting my work out there. But I believe so much in what I do, so I am going to continue to roll them out. What I have decided I can do is donate $25 from each program that I sell through at least the end of the year to , as well as other organizations supporting Black maternal health. Please, please share organizations that you follow that are fighting gender and racial discrimination in US healthcare.
