International conflicts, climate change, and a polarized US election cycle means that teaching and learning is happening at an unpredictable and tense time. 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗯𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. We’ll explore how to focus on course goals while also supporting students, setting boundaries, and managing our own needs. Whether you’re teaching courses that directly engage challenging topics or are simply wondering how world events might affect you, your students, and your classroom, this group can help form community and create knowledge.
