“Healer” 30x30in oil on canvas This Painting took me three tries to get absolutely right. I was actually commissioned to do this at 15 years old and the first painting, I will say just was not good. So I ended up doing another one and that one went to the Client and I had to do another one for my series, so I painted another one and I believe this one is the best one for a 15/16-year-old to paint. My favorite part of the painting is the hand of the blind man gripping Jesus‘s robe. The desperation and need for Jesus and Jesus is just calmly and lovingly cleaning his eyes with the mud that he made. The funny thing about this is the blind man actually wasn’t healed immediately. He had to obey Jesus‘s instructions to go to a certain place and wash his eyes off, and then he was healed and could see again. Interesting…. It’s like obedience to Jesus’ word is important😉 Anyways, let me know what you guys think of this and I’ll see y’all tomorrow.

Faith 36x36in acrylic on canvas This is one of my absolute favorite paintings that I’ve ever done. Not only because of the meaning behind it, but because of how I did it. This is the first painting that I did completely freehanded. I did not sketch beforehand and hands are particularly hard to paint. And I was so proud of the way I did these hands.
