We had a wonderful BUNCO turnout last week. Everyone went home with some kind of prize, too. We ate, drank wine, and laughed a lot. Thank you to all who enjoyed this great evening at Jan's house and Thank You Jan, for hosted us all.

Our chapter visited the San Gabriel Mission, and Kim Allender, husband of Pam Allender, led us on an informative tour.

We had 5 Grant Recipients this year, since we did not have any last year. What a fabulous group of teachers they are, too. They shared their project ideas for using their grant money, at our April meeting, and we were very pleased and impressed with such a variety of creative activities for the students.
Our other Service Project was our Library Book donations to Washington Elementary School. A huge success, and Fatima and Martha presented these books to the librarian, who was very pleased indeed.

Our latest Chapter meeting enjoyed photos of the 2017 Solar Eclipse, taken by our presenter, Nelson Arnstein. We learned a lot, and a future eclipse is on October 14, 2023.
