Another note about bees & wasps, is to keep debris cleared from your yard. Bees and wasps love cardboard boxes, wood piles, mud, rotting fruit that drops from fruit trees, and lots of flowering plants. Large trees are also great for bee hives. If you have determined the location of a nearby bee hive or wasp nest, they will not go away until the nest goes away. So it is best to contact a professional or seek assistance of a beekeeper to have it removed. But do not call them unless you have detrmined the location of a hive or they will charge you for a visit and you may not even have that problem.
