New followers, old followers, and everyone in between...

What was the moment that made you believe there might be more to this world than we can explain?

Not what you saw on TV.

Not a story someone told you.

Your experience.

The one thing that made you stop and wonder.

We're curious how many people found their way into the paranormal because of something they personally experienced.

Share your story below and let's see how many different paths led us all here.

Today we took the girls to High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church in Brantley County to learn about a piece of South Georgia history and spend some time exploring the area.

What makes this place so special is that High Bluff traces its roots back to 1819, making it one of the oldest continuously active churches in Southeast Georgia. The congregation was originally established along the Satilla River by Elder Isham Peacock and a small group of early settlers. The church gets its name from the high bluff overlooking the river where the original congregation first gathered.

Over the years, the church survived relocations, changing communities, and nearly two centuries of history. The simple wooden church standing today reflects the traditions of the Primitive Baptists who settled the Wiregrass region of Georgia. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time.

The historic cemetery surrounding the church is equally fascinating. Many of Brantley County's early settlers and pioneer families are buried here, their gravestones telling stories that stretch back generations. Among those connected to the site is Lydia Stone, often called the "Queen of the Okefenokee," whose legacy remains part of local folklore and history.

One of the things we love most about homeschooling is being able to take learning beyond books and into places where history actually happened. Standing in a church that has served generations of families for more than 200 years is a powerful reminder of how much history is hidden right here in our own backyard.

Have you ever visited High Bluff Primitive Baptist Church or have family ties to the area? We'd love to hear your stories.

GHOST STORY OR MADE UP?

Let's play a game.

Share your creepiest ghost story in the comments. It can be something that happened to you, something you heard from a family member, a local legend... or something you completely made up.

The catch?

Don't tell us if it's true or fake.

Everyone else has to read the story and guess:
✅ TRUE
❌ FAKE

At the end, come back and reveal the answer.

Let's see who can fool the group... and who has a real story that sounds too terrifying to be true.

Ready?

Tell us your story below... if you dare.
