Caught in action, teaching my senior client the pull-up/squat.

Holding the bar from above not only challenges her shoulder mobility, it also helps support her lower extremities as her hips shift back to mimic the action of sitting in a chair. (AKA squat)

The looped band around her legs encourages her hip muscles to fire, so that more focus can be on scapular rhythm.

In this assisted pull-up, she can use as much support from her legs as she prefers to feel confident and strong in her shoulders.
