CA: 6 months

GA: 6 months

PA: 4 months, 2 weeks

TX: 2 months, 2 weeks

Every claim is different, and we’ll keep you updated with monthly emails after you submit your claim with us!

If you’re making a claim for a family member who has passed, you’ll need a photo of their death certificate.

If you don’t have it, here’s what we recommend:

1. Ask family | someone may already have a copy

2. Call the funeral home | they often keep records on file

3. Order from the state’s Vital Records office | usually available online
