We’ve been reading up on Warren Buffet’s “value investing” philosophy.

In short, the study of macro economics helps us think more critically about what’s truly valuable.

As designers and strategists that operate in a largely digital world (with instant feedback loops), the tempting default is often “shiny object syndrome.”

In doing so, we can sacrifice the compounding effect of developing our craft, and the long term returns that only true focus pays.
