What does mental illness REALLY look like?

It looks like the jovial, near-middle-aged man who showed up for work every day and finished each shift without incident for years. The same man who decked his supervisor and quit his steady job at the plant in one fell swoop, straight out of the blue.

It looks like the regular Joe with a small family and a modest home, where he taught his kids to ride their bikes and tinkered with woodworking in the garage. The same man who let it all go in the divorce.

It looks like the handsome, clean-shaven man with a ridiculous sense of humor and infectious laugh. The same man who dropped 30 pounds, grew a full beard, assumed the gravelly voice of Wolfman Jack, and donned a Texas-sized black hat, pointed-toe boots and rainbow suspenders, aptly dubbing himself "Black Bart."
