I've seen quite a few new precious souls find my little corner of the internet, so I thought it was time to introduce myself again. 💗
So hey, I'm Shelby - human Being, creatrix, and founder of Shelby Lavery Creative! I'm a freelance social media manager and content creator serving spiritual + holistic entrepreneurs, so if you resonate with that, welcome! I'm so happy you're here, beautiful Being. ✨
To be honest, things might be shifting + changing around here in the coming months, but I know it's going to be in the highest alignment for not only myself, but for my clients and future clients as well. But don't worry, I'm not going anywhere!
I'm still here to provide insight and knowledge about showing up on social media + sharing your story with those who need to hear it most. But I might be delving into some new things too, you'll just have to wait and see! 👁

The other day, I was chatting with a new friend about what I do as a social media manager and he asked me one simple question that broke me open 👇🏼
"What are your other soul callings? Social media can't be it, can it?"
When he asked me that question, it made me face the thoughts that have been ruminating in my head for the past month or so: that it's time to expand into something greater than what my current reality looks like.
Don't worry, I'm still completely in love with storytelling, social media management, & everything else that comes with it - I'm not going anywhere. 😉
BUT I have been asking myself what my next step is and how I can continue to hold sacred space for others so they feel safe to share their stories. My soul is yearning to find new ways to shine my brightest light so I can help others do the same - and honestly... I'm excited for this new part of my path that is unfolding.
We are all multidimensional beings who came here for a multitude of reasons & it's our divine right to figure out what those are - and they will shift and change as we do. I don't know about you, but I think that's FREAKIN' COOL ❤️🔥
So if you've been needing a sign to expand outwards of what you're currently doing, let this be it. It's okay to be multi-passionate, in fact, that just shows you're listening to your deepest desires & finding ways to reflect them.

🤯 Have you been struggling to give your ideas new life on the 'gram? My client was too...
When I first started working with this client, she felt like she knew what she wanted to say, but didn't know how to get all of the ideas swirling around in her head onto paper.
I know I've certainly been there: in this state of knowing all the right things to say, but having absolutely NO IDEA how to actually say them in a way people will relate to. Throw a 🤟🏼 in the comments if you can relate!
This is why having someone who will intently listen to your stories (like myself 😉) can be the key. We are all mirrors for each other, so odds are if you're open to telling someone your story, they'll hear it in a way that could offer a fresh perspective.
After my first strategy session with her, she already felt so much better about getting her story out there - and after I created her first round of content, she was certain that this is how she wanted to be doing it. I was able to act as that loving, reflective mirror so I could take her story and write it in a way that would resonate with her community.
And that's what matters right? Connection is why we're all here, so why not start sharing more? 💗

I would not be able to run this biz if I didn't take care of my soul first ❤️🔥
It isn't always the easiest thing, but I'm learning that taking care of myself IS taking care of business - it's taken a while for me to realize it, but I'm finally getting there.
I'm learning to surround myself with people that support me & my crazy, wild ambitions, even if I'm still growing into the idea of them.
I'm learning to give myself grace when I make mistakes and do better the second (or third) time around.
I'm learning to trust my own intuition and follow it.
And I want you to start taking care of your soul, too. Because once you start doing that, your business will start reflecting that (& your clients will start to notice too 😘)
