GETTING THE WORK DONE
Glad to report that after meeting with the team at the state Dept. of Conservation and Recreation yesterday, we are convening local and state officials to come up with a plan to clean up and stop illegal dumping near Watson Pond. Thank you Karen Kullas and the Taunton Ecology Awareness Movement (TEAM) for bringing this issue to my attention on Earth Day.

Today begins National Police Week. This is a time to stop and reflect on the service of the men and women in blue who leave their families every day not knowing what will happen on their shifts. Walking by the Massachusetts Law Enforcement Memorial at the State House today, my thoughts were with the family, friends and colleagues of State Trooper Kevin Trainor who was killed in the line of duty last week.
