Sneak peak at the recently completed San Carlos House Addition and Remodel Project. This is a short video of the primary bathroom that I call the chapel. I love the height and brightness and ephemeral feel of the space. Love all the sunlight and oak tree shadows reflecting on the wall like temporal artwork. We talk so much about layouts, materials and fixtures with the clients but these spatial, immaterial, and light filled moments bring me so much joy as an architect, and to know that the owners get to live in a beautiful well designed space makes me happy for them.
