Where to See 'Make Way for Ducklings' in Boston! ⏬
If you're looking for the perfect spot to bring your friends, family, and kids in Boston, look no further than the Make Way for Ducklings statues in the Boston Public Garden, located near the corner of Beacon Street and Charles Street.
Published in 1941, the book has become a timeless classic in American children’s literature. 'Make Way for Ducklings' takes center stage in Boston, featuring iconic sculptures of ducklings that have become a cherished tourist attraction. The heartwarming tale follows Mr. and Mrs. Mallard, a pair of ducks, on their quest to find a suitable home for their ducklings in the bustling city of Boston. Their journey ultimately leads them to the tranquil haven of the Public Garden.
Crafted by artist Nancy Schön, the bronze duckling sculptures were installed in 1987. These charming sculptures often don seasonal and holiday decorations, adding to their playful and interactive allure within the park.
When you find yourself in Boston, missing this adorable sight would be quite a challenge, even if you attempted to! Boston Travel Guide highly recommends a visit, with Mother's Day offering a particularly special opportunity for bonding
