No pain, no gain! Well...maybe it's a bit more nuanced than that.

It's true that you need to push your body to an extent to experience gains regardless of your goal as it needs to adapt to the increased stimulus, however pain in a physical sense is generally not good during weightlifting. 🙅‍♀️

If you're experiencing physical pain - you're likely hurting your body with too much weight or poor form. Then you'll just hurt your gains.

Sometime's it's ok to be more like the tortoise...slow and steady progression and you'll hit your goals!
