This life is cutthroat for sure, but not every scenario calls for it.

When JAŸ-Z made that statement about being more “on offense” it made me switch my thinking. Even as kids we were taught that being cutthroat was the way, but it’s really about preparation. Less checkers and more chess. Always staying yourself and staying a few moves ahead is how I’m seeing things.

Took a while for me to get to the space I’m in creatively. Now it’s just about getting it to translate over into other fields.

Been putting the building blocks together slowly and it looks like it’s all starting to come together.
