Paul took the Inkspots back in time and taught us about the history and techniques of metal point sketching. Thank you Paul!

If you were unable to make it last night and want some time with pen friends, stop by Library! at Cole & Ustick from 10am-2pm tomorrow (Saturday, April 18). Mollie will be working on birthday cards for our guild members. Bring your nib and help us make something special, or bring your own project and just enjoy the company.

We're traveling back to the Renaissance this month! Our April meeting dives into the art of metal point, the mark making method beloved by some of history's greatest artists.

We'll be using metal point styluses to draw constructed versal letterforms, a beautiful pairing of ancient technique and timeless lettering. In-person attendees will have supplies ready to go, and virtual members can follow along with graphite or whatever tool you have on hand.

This one is going to be really special!
