This is what a new rug looks like after it is removed from the loom. This rug was inspired by an antique Kurdish rug that we commissioned our friends in Afghanistan to reproduce. From here, it goes through a special wash and sheering process that will reveal a more chiseled design and the colors will pop. Will update with another post showing before and after pics.
