One of my favorite parts of this job is seeing how differently people choose to experience the world. Which of these trips sounds most like your style?

One of the most unexpected things travel has given me is perspective.

History feels very different when you’re standing in the places where it happened.

Some places leave you inspired. Some leave you heartbroken. Some somehow leave you feeling both at once.

Travel has made the world feel bigger to me... but also more human.

It has reminded me over and over that behind every war, memorial, and history book were ordinary people trying to live ordinary lives.

I think there is real value in seeing that with your own eyes.
