Approaching 6 microns! 😎🤓🤗 which is equal to .00025 inches or about 5x thinner than a human hair 🤯. Thinnest recorded shaving I know of was 3 microns which is smaller than a blood cell. To say that you have to have an absolutely perfectly set up plane and sharp blade is a massive understatement! Kezurokai here we come! ✌️🤙

Just a few of my most used tools I have made over the years. Making tools is one of the most satisfying efforts I have found as a craftsman. Then making beautiful things with said tools. On the same level as providing for yourself or family with a bow or rod you made with your own hands. A primal satisfaction that has largely been wiped out of our modern lives. One that makes me sit and take a long hard look at the way society says we should be living now....

Thank you 2020 for the lessons I needed to be reminded of. Some people are sick and there's no fixing them we just have to trust they will find their own way in their own time. Trust your gut, it will never lie to you even when those you love do. Nothing lasts forever and today I can be grateful for that. ✌
