Scripture: 1 Peter 1:1–12

Summary
Peter writes to believers scattered across the world, reminding them that their identity is anchored in God’s foreknowledge, the Spirit’s sanctifying work, and obedience to Christ. Because of God’s great mercy, we have been born again into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus. Our inheritance is imperishable, undefiled, unfading, and protected by God’s power.
Even when trials grieve us, they refine our faith like gold, proving it genuine and bringing glory to Christ. Though we have not seen Jesus, we love Him and rejoice with inexpressible joy, knowing that the outcome of our faith is the salvation of our souls. The prophets longed to see this grace, and even angels marvel at the salvation God has revealed to us.

Glow is the living hope — the joy that can’t be explained, the unseen Christ we love, the inheritance that never fades, the mercy that made us new.
Glue is the steadfast faith through trials — the perseverance that proves our trust genuine, the daily obedience shaped by the Spirit, the anchored identity that keeps us firm no matter where we’re scattered.
Glow lifts our eyes to heaven; Glue roots our hearts in faithfulness.

Where is God inviting you to see your trials as refining, not defeating? How does remembering your living hope shift your perspective today? And what would change if you lived fully aware that even angels marvel at the grace given to you?

Prayer
Father, thank You for the living hope I have through Jesus. Strengthen my faith through every trial, fill me with inexpressible joy, and keep my heart anchored in Your promise. Shape me by Your Spirit and help me live worthy of the salvation You’ve given. Amen.
