In all my years of photographing families, this was the very first session I've ever had to reschedule because of weather.

What was supposed to be a dreamy sunset maternity session quickly became a game of watching forecasts, checking radar, and hoping for a break in the clouds.

Instead of chasing the evening light, we pivoted and met before sunrise the next morning.

The world was quiet, the beach was empty, and the soft morning light wrapped around everything in the most beautiful way.

It felt like the universe had a different plan for us all along.

A good reminder that when we trust the process, beautiful things can happen.
