GRADUATING STUDENTS - GOOGLE DATA TRANSFER (School District of Palm Beach County Students)
Did you know? Graduating students will lose their emails, data, and files from their student Gmail account if they do not start and complete a data transfer. Graduating students are able to copy Gmail and Google Drive data from their .palmbeachschools.org account to a consumer .com account.
Data transfers must be initiated by Friday, May 22 to be completed before graduating seniors' accounts are deactivated. Once the accounts are deactivated, the ability to transfer data will no longer be available.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO START THE COPY PROCESS:
1. On your school account, go to transfer your content. (This link will only work for graduating seniors)
2. Enter the email address of the Google account where you want to copy your content. (Make sure there is enough available storage space in the Gmail account before starting the transfer)
3. Select “get code”
4. On your Google account, check your Gmail inbox for a confirmation email from Google. In the email, select “get confirmation code.” A new tab will open with a code.
5. On your school account, go back to the "transfer your content" page. Enter the code, then choose “verify”
6. Choose the content to copy, then select “start transfer”
For more information on transferring data, please see this Google support article: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6386856

DID YOU KNOW? - SAT FEE WAIVERS
SAT offers a test fee waiver program to eligible students covering the regular registration cost of the exam.
There are two ways to obtain the waiver:
- OPTION #1: To determine eligibility, you must complete the survey (https://www.myschoolapps.com/Home/PickDistrict) EVERY YEAR. Once you receive your eligibility letter, please contact your child's school counselors for your waiver.
- OPTION #2: Self-identification through your College Board account.

GRADUATION PHOTO RECOMMENDATIONS
Graduation season is almost upon us! Parents, it is time to coordinate your graduating senior's cap and gown photographs.
When your child obtains their cap and gown (usually at senior checkout), make sure they bring it home, take it out of the bag, and steam it to remove the wrinkles.
Coordinate a date/time with your child to take pictures. DO NOT try to do this on the day of graduation! There will not be time. They will be turning in their gown after the recessional and will only have their cap after they exit the facility.
If you don't have the opportunity to take separate cap/gown photos, the school district will have a professional photographer (GradImages) taking photos of your student accepting their diploma. Additionally, Palm Beach Post will be taking candid shots.
Happy Graduation!
