What is the difference between a Notary Public and a Signing Agent?
All Signing Agents are notaries, but not all notaries are Signing Agents. To become a Signing Agent you must be a commissioned notary public in your state. Only then may you apply for the extra certification. A Signing Agent is an additional level of certification on top of the notary public certification and allows you to assist with loan paperwork and closings. 3D Mobile Notary Signing Agents are all certified, background checked, bonded and insured.
