Another project down. They’re never as simple as you’d hope but it always feels good when the work is done.

Gotta give a special shout out to on her final Teacher Appreciation Day as a public school teacher. I’ve always told her she was born for that job and I know every one of her students would agree. I’ve watched her pour her heart, soul, and energy into those kids for the last 10 years - even to the detriment of her own mental health at times. Teachers have it tougher than a lot of people understand. They’re often hamstrung by bureaucracy and lack support from incompetent leadership. And at the same time they’re attacked and blamed by parents for THEIR child’s behavior. More recently they’ve been demonized and politicized when all the vast majority of the want to do is make a positive impact on children who are the future of our world. Underpaid and under appreciated. If you know a teacher, thank them. And a special thank you to my wife as she moves on to a new career. I’m proud of you and I love you.
