Being sick on a farm 🤒🚜

They’re making the best of it… we’ve checked on the animals, done a little farm work, and squeezed in some much-needed rest.

With rain and storms on the way, we’re soaking up all the fresh air and outside time we can 💛🌾

I don’t think anyone loves their chickens more than this kid 🐔

Up at the crack of dawn saying “chickens!” before his eyes are even fully open. 💛

The sky is still, the wind is gentle, and everything feels quiet for just a moment as we wrap up a long work week. It’s so beautiful out tonight — one of those slow-down-and-soak-it-in kind of evenings. 🌩️

Some of the best evenings are the ones spent outside with the kids and the animals…

Sometimes we get caught up in the busy lifestyle. From working full-time day jobs, to the farm, to the kids, to delivering hay — and somewhere in between, trying to take care of ourselves and our marriage.

Life moves fast. The to-do list never seems to end. But here’s a simple reminder to slow down and reflect for a minute.

2026 calves are looking fresh!!! 🐮✨

We’ve got about 10 more mamas due over the next 2–3 months and we are so excited for this season.

Praying for healthy calves, and smooth, easy deliveries for the mamas. 🙏🏼🤍

No one ever really talks about being a farmer’s wife (after kids).

Holding down the fort at home with the kids. Supper getting cold while the tractor lights glow in the field. Loading up the kids to run from field to field, hay delivery to hay delivery, just to steal a few minutes together between breakdowns and long days.

Planting season is here again. 🌱 We pray for protection over our babies and patience for this mama. We pray for Caleb and all the long weekends ahead. We pray over the animals, the equipment, and every acre we’re blessed to tend.

This life isn’t always easy… but it’s ours. And we’re grateful for it. 🌾🤍
