There! She's done! And I think she turned out beautifully. She's a gift for a 9-year-old girl--a thank you gift, actually.
Here's the story. Last summer I was browsing the mall and came across a beautiful necklace. I told myself, "Someday." Then friends invited me to share Christmas Eve with them. They asked their daughter to shop for me and she selected this necklace, even though she had no way of knowing I had admired it.
I felt like I wanted to do something special to say thank you. What better way than with a doll? After all, dolls bring love.

Business hasn't exactly been booming with this doll business. That's okay, actually. I've learned a lot, about many things.
One thing of particular interest. I gave a doll to a friend for her birthday and she said, "These pictures are very good, but they don't do the dolls justice. This doll is Beautiful! Much more beautiful than I expected."
I was very flattered, but I learned something from this comment. Marketing dolls online is the wrong approach. People who wish to purchase a doll would like to hold it first.
I'll still hold these dolls available for purchase, but I think I'll change the function of this page a bit. Turn it into something...inspirational, educational. Hey, this can provide an excuse to study a topic of interest! That's a win/win as far as I can see.
So let me see.....hmmmm....oh, this is going to be fun!
