Perrys Potato Patch

Checking on potatoes today and they are already getting some potatoes in the making.Should be good sized to eat in about 2-3 weeks.

The potato crop is moving right along.
Plants have really taking off.If the plants are any indication should get a good crop.

Got the drip line in.
When mother nature don’t deliver the water we bring our own to the garden.

Potatoes looking good.
Got them hilled up.Probably will need to run the drip lines soon.Not raining quite enough yet.

A little spotty but off to a great start.
Some good old fashioned rain will really fit the bill about now.

The potatoes planted May 2 are finally breaking through.
Looking good ,pretty wet yet.

Put another 200 lbs of seed down.
No cutting ,straight from the bulk bags.
Red Norlands ,see what they do planted later.
Quite sprouted ,should be up quickly.

2026 Potato crop is in the ground.
Just need some heat and good dose of rain to really get it going.

Potato seed is cut, Planting set for Saturday May 2 .
Should do around a mile of row.
Get the hoes and tillers ready 😳.
