About us
Paws and Pastries is a delightful micro bakery and dog treat company that began its journey in the small town of Bismarck, North Dakota. The company was initially founded to raise funds for a missionary group through the sale of cupcakes. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for experimenting with pastries, which led me to fall in love with baking, inspiring me to pursue it further.

After my volunteer time came to an end, I moved back to New Jersey, where I married my wonderful husband, David. It was a playful suggestion from David that sparked the creation of Paws and Pastries. He proposed that I combine my love for baking with our affection for our beloved dog, Jax, by starting a business that offered both dog treats and baked goods. Taking his suggestion to heart, Paws and Pastries was born.

Though our dear Jax passed away in September 2024, we continue to honor his memory by serving some of his favorite treats to new furry friends. Our motto, “Celebrate every tail wagging moment!”, perfectly encapsulates our philosophy of celebrating life's little joys and indulging in treats that bring happiness.
