Apparently Grits has decided that scrub time = love time. 🧽 Mange is absolutely treatable and once the animal begins treatment, the skin goes through many stages to heal.
The gentle scrub helps remove old, damaged skin while encouraging healthy new skin and, hopefully, the coat he’s waited so long to have. Don’t you love him soaking up every second of Mark’s attention like he was thinking, “Is this really my new life?”
Last week, Grits was hiding under a truck, his bare skin baking in the sun swollen and infected. Now he has a soft bed, a favorite toy, and a cool foster dad who gives him spa days. 😎🆒
