A little announcement:

We recently raised the price of our goat’s milk soaps to $8 per bar. It was NOT an easy decision but I wanted to explain. 💜

Each bar is made from scratch with lard, sunflower oil, coconut oil, tallow, castor oil, goat’s milk, colloidal oats, kaolin clay, color, and fragrance. They weigh approximately 4.25 ounces.

I have always tried to keep my prices affordable, so raising them can come with a lot of guilt. But I also have to remind myself that these soaps take time, quality ingredients, supplies, packaging, and years of experience to make.

Amber Bath Co. has been in business since 2019, and this has been my full-time job since January 2025. At some point, you have to face the hard truth that your prices need to allow your business to make a profit and continue growing. That is what I am working toward.

I still offer sales regularly, free shipping on orders over $40, and a flat shipping rate of $6.45 on smaller orders.

I also offer wholesale pricing to my retail partners, so my regular pricing has to leave enough room for both sides of the business to remain sustainable.

It is still hard not to feel guilty, but I know the quality and care that go into every bar. I just have to keep reminding myself that it is worth it.

I debated for a long, long time on whether or not to add lotion bars to our lineup, and I'm so glad I decided to!

So many lotion bars I tried were not firm at all. They were soft, mushy and pliable, and we didn't love that formula at all.

So we made our own - a bar that holds up, smells great, moisturizes plenty, isn't too greasy, and won't melt just sitting in your purse or bag. Ours melt on skin contact only, and we love them! ☺️
