Spent an evening out at June Farms while the light did its slow fall behind the hills.

There's a kind of quiet that only happens on a working farm at golden hour. The barn goes warm. The fields go gold. Everything slows to the speed the place actually moves at. I shot wide open and let the sun carry it.

Reaching back into the archive. Lake Placid in January, no client, no plan.

I drove up with a camera and a thermos and stood on a frozen lake while the sky did something I still can't describe right. Twelve degrees. Nobody around. Just the mountains and the kind of light you don't get to schedule.

Some frames you chase. This one I just had to be cold enough to wait for.
