ODD CAR SERIES... The 1970 Urbanina
Designed by the Marquis Piergirolamo Bargagli, the Urbanina was a radical solution for Italian city traffic. Its most striking feature was a circular cabin that could rotate 360 degrees on its chassis, allowing the driver to enter or exit from any direction regardless of how the car was parked. Powered by a small 175cc Innocenti engine or an early electric motor, this microcar prioritized vertical space and maneuverability over speed. Though it never reached mass production, it remains a pioneering example of modular urban design and the quest for the ultimate city vehicle.
