In consideration of tomorrow’s heat advisory with potentially severe afternoon thunderstorm conditions, the Biddeford Recreation Department has made the decision to cancel tomorrow’s “America’s 250th” event, originally scheduled to be held at Rotary Park on the afternoon of Tuesday, July 14th. Unfortunately, we are unable to reschedule this event. We apologize for any disappointment and look forward to future community celebrations later this year.

🦁🌿 WOW! Safari Camp & TAC Camp had a ROAR-ing first week! 🌿🦁
What an incredible start to the summer! Safari Week lived up to all the excitement as campers tackled fun challenges like building the longest paper snakes they could and testing their teamwork and memory with a life-sized game of Minesweeper!
Each morning, our Safari campers kicked off the day with Morning Meeting, where they learned about the day’s adventures, reviewed expectations, played get-to-know-you games, and sang plenty of silly camp songs. It’s been amazing to see friendships already forming within their color groups!
Meanwhile, our TAC campers hit the ground running with an awesome game of kickball, team-building challenges, and getting familiar with the park they’ll call home this summer. We can’t wait to see where their adventures take them next!
