Design and becoming “good” at something can be so exacting and goal-driven. I often not only have had to remind myself, but more importantly, make sure I have designated time to play. And with this time have the intention to go back to art I did long before I knew the value of it. To channel the beginner mindset and trust myself versus what I think others expect of me.
