Marketing Marvy
Your content is invisible if it's not SEO-friendly. Here's how to fix it. 🔍
Mistake #5: Not optimizing my content for search.
In case you didn't know, social media isn't just social anymore. It's a search engine.
In 2021, TikTok became the most-used search engine, passing Google. Instagram followed right behind. People aren't just scrolling feeds. They're SEARCHING for solutions to their problems.
That means your content can work for you long after you post it... but only if it's optimized for search.
Here's how to make your content SEO-friendly:
1. Use keywords in your captions
Think about what your ideal client would type into the search bar. "Content strategy for coaches," "marketing tips for service providers," etc. Weave those phrases naturally into your captions.
2. Add keywords to your content itself
Use text overlays in reels and carousels with searchable phrases. The algorithm reads that text and categorizes your content accordingly.
3. Optimize your profile
Your name field and bio should include keywords that describe what you do. "Digital Marketing Strategist | Content Coach" tells Instagram (and your ideal clients) exactly who you are.
4. Create evergreen content
Focus on topics that will be relevant for the foreseeable future, not just trending moments. Evergreen content keeps working for you long after you post it.
5. Think like your audience
What questions are they asking? What problems are they searching for solutions to? Create content that answers those specific searches.
Your content should work for you while you sleep. SEO makes that possible. đź’¤
Quick challenge: Go search a keyword in your niche right now. Notice how posts from months or even years ago are still showing up? That could be YOUR content bringing in clients on autopilot.

You Don't Need to Be an Influencer to Make Money Online—Here's Proof
At this point, if you haven't started growing your brand yet, if you haven't started putting out content—I'm gonna be real with you: you just don't want to. And that's okay. This isn't for everybody. Not everyone has to do it.
But if you've been sitting on the sidelines wanting to start? Now is the time.
I'm not exaggerating when I say this s**t is on easy mode right now. I have never seen it so easy to go viral, grow a following, or build a brand just from putting out regular, everyday content. It doesn't have to be anything crazy. It doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be strategic.
And when I say strategic, I mean understanding that there are so many different ways you can make money online right now. We're talking endless possibilities.
You Can Literally Monetize Anything
There are people making real money just reacting to other people's content. That's it. Watching videos, adding commentary, and getting paid for it.
You can create theories about your favorite show, book, or comic and build an audience around that. You can write fan fiction—short stories, long stories, whatever you want. You can make video essays diving deep into topics you're passionate about.
People on TikTok are blowing up simply because they're showing up consistently. They're watching content and making little comments. They're talking about their day. Sharing what they're working on. Giving glimpses into their life.
There are people literally making money doing anything and everything you could possibly think of.
There's Never Been a Better Time Than Right Now
This level of access? This level of opportunity? It's never existed before. Everything you need is already at your fingertips.
I know a lot of people aren't doing it—and probably won't—for a whole bunch of reasons. Privacy concerns. Mental health. Anxiety. Fear of judgment. Fear of failure. I get it. There's a long list of reasons people hold themselves back.
But here's what I need you to hear: none of those are good enough reasons to not do it.
Let me say that again.
The fear, the anxiety, the overthinking—whatever it is that's holding you back—it's not a good enough reason to stay stuck. Not when the potential is this massive. Not when the barrier to entry is this low.
And especially not when there are faceless options. You don't even have to show your face if you don't want to. You can run ads. You can use voiceovers. You can create content in a hundred different ways that protect your privacy and still allow you to build something real.
There are so many ways to do this.
So What's It Gonna Be?
The opportunities are here. The tools are free or cheap. The audience is waiting.
The only question left is whether or not you're ready to stop waiting for the "perfect moment" and just start.
That's all I'm gonna say.
All right.
